The brain behind Havilah Gold Secondary School is Abayomi Adeoye Osokomaiya, with the motive of having a school that delivers high level of qualitative education in Nigerian secondary schools. He believes avidly in the whole child and knows that education is about so much more than academics. For all young people to give a free rein to and fulfill their maximum potentials, focus must be on building character strengths and depths of moral fiber that will stay with them throughout their lives.

Havilah Gold Secondary School was birthed after over 30 years of incubation of the vision. It is located on a beautiful, spacious ground along the Epe/ Ijebu – Ode expressway at Odomola in Epe, a serene outskirt of Lagos State, Nigeria. It is about 45km from Lekki and 15 minutes drive from Ijebu – Ode in Ogun State.

Havilah Gold Secondary School is a co – educational thriving and successful day secondary school that offers a blend of Nigerian and British program of study. We started operations on 2nd October, 2020 with four experienced and qualified teachers but still, in September, 2020, they were trained for one week, on various pedagogy topics so as to be in tandem with the vision of the school. Four students resumed on Monday, 5th October, 2020.

Our aim is to provide nothing but the best for each of our students, hence our motto Only the best is good enough.”

This will ensure that all our students can develop their creative minds, experience success, and make positive contributions to the school community and go on to become reliable, responsible, responsive leaders and independent members of the society. Their achievements forever remain our pride and reward. This is why we have included Key Skills (Creative thinking, Critical thinking, Empathy, Collaboration, Effective Communication, Interpersonal Relationship, Decision Making and Problem Solving, Self Awareness, etc) in our curriculum so that among others, the cognitive ability (especially memory and thinking) of each student is developed.
